Is Boudoir For You?

Woot! My camera is back safe and sound. Now I can get back to doing what I love: shooting pictures.

We have had a lot of people approach us and tell us that they would just LOVE to have boudoir pictures made, either for their partner or just for themselves. They tell us that they want to do it, but they are worried that they would be way too nervous, that they don't feel like they are sexy enough or that they need to lose "just five more pounds." We can understand the mixed feelings when considering taking such intimate pictures, but we want to put your mind totally at ease. Before a boudoir shoot we always ask what you consider to be your best asset and your least favorite. We work around this in creative ways such as posing and lighting. Often, a simple change in pose can make you look 10 years younger or 15 lbs lighter. The bottom line is simple: we will not allow you to look bad. We want you to look just as hot as those girls in Maxim or Victoria's Secret. You have that sexy someone already inside, let us help you see yourself as you never have before!

Tattoo You! Upcoming Photo Project

Canon repair just totally rocks! My camera will be back tomorrow, exactly one week after sending it in for repair. Being without a camera is no fun. Suddenly you start seeing all the photo ops that you are missing. Back in business baby!

I have some openings for some photo projects I want to do. For photo projects we don't charge. You will get a copy of the prints and will be required to sign a model release. We are currently looking for a male / female who is heavily tattooed, or has interesting tattoo's. But you have to have more than one! Show us your tats! Contact us for more information.

Note to self: NEVER try cleaning the sensor on your camera.

Photographers hate spots on pictures. I mean totally freaking HATE them! I had started noticing spots on my pictures when I went to an aperture of f/22. That can only mean one thing, dust on the sensor. Dust. The bane of a photographer. What to do? Well, really the only thing you can do is blow off the dust with one of those handy dandy things you suck a baby's nose out with, but preferably a clean new one. Don't need to be adding baby snot on top of the dust problem.

Don't try blowing the dust off with your mouth either. It won't work. You will probably forget about that piece of gum you have been chewing on and blow that right into your sensor too. Bad idea. And don't do what I ended up doing. I got a soft cloth and attempted to clean my sensor using very fine, tee niney gentle motions. My sensor didn't like the fact that I was rubbing on it. It balked and got two scratches on it just for the hell of it. Probably out of spite for my daring to even look at it. I am actually glad it happened. I had 212.00 sitting around and was wondering what I was going to spend it on. Now I know.... Lesson learned.

Absolutely LOVE this shot! The church where they had their wedding was totally gorgeous. Only downside to shooting there was the fact that the church was dark. Way dark. Donnie Darko dark. Mucho thanks to my wife and shooting partner Stacey for being my portable light stand, you light up my life!

Another great shot from their wedding. I waited until everyone was nodding off before pressing the shutter release button. You wouldn't know it to look at the picture, but the entire wedding party had Narcolepsy and would fall asleep at the oddest moments.

We loved shooting their fairy tale like wedding! It was a lot of work, but well worth the results. Everyone had a blast, I did want to smother the videographer several times, but that is a whole different story. Scotty is a Fireman and had his very own honor guard. Those guys holding the sharp pointy things look like they are spoiling for a fight!:)
